    We can't thank you all enough for all of your hard work to get my our parents packed up and moved to Blakehurst.  You had it looking like "home" in a flash!  On the flip side, the managing and packing of the remainder of the contents at Thornton Woods took quite a load off of my sister's and my plates.  We are forever grateful for the help.

    We were dragging our feet and then all of a sudden we were there at Pickersgill.  From the communications with you and Michele Miller (the other Michele) to the floorplan from Sarah, the art hanging with Virginia and Shelly, Kimi and Patrice careful set up, Ross, Ryan and Patrick clearing the home- this is an expert band of competent, efficient and kind brood! There was even motherly care and good advice.  The final touches of making our bed, bringing us new lampshades made us feel like friends and family during an experience for which stressful is a mild word.  This was well worth every penny and Reinhard concurs.

    "Anxiety of a big move"

    After 22 years in a large home, we decided to move to a condominium.  How were we going to manage such a move? Luckily for us, a friend suggested that we call Senior Move Success.  Working with this company was the best part of our move!  Initially, Michele came to our house and sorted out what we could move based on the size of our new home and in conjunction with our decorator. The staff was very efficient, packing all of our items carefully, always on time and very friendly.  The packing took several days and the staff became more like family than employees.

    What we were not able to move to our new condo due to lack of space was photographed and delivered to The Turnover Shop for consignment, or donated to charity.  Senior Move Success found us a moving company that was as wonderful as they.  The move itself took 2 days and unpacking and placement of our belongings was next. Every item was put in it's proper place with perfection in our entire move!

    Senior Move Success is without a doubt, the best in their field!  From the owner, Michele to the entire staff-this is the only company I would recommend if you are planning a move.

Senior move success did an A+ job in each of the projects it did for me recently.  First, I needed furniture and collectible items moved out of my late mother-in-law‘s apartment in Roland Park Place. Their movers were amazing, particularly Patrick, the head of the job. Patrick packed up the things more carefully than any mover I have ever experienced. He treated our things as though they were his. He used many blankets, he was careful to tape them on. He and his men were so gentle loading into the truck and later, bringing them into our home.

Obviously, I’m a woman, and all these men were respectful. I felt heard, and our needs were completely met. The men were extremely patient.

The next job was moving 70 boxes from a storage area into our home, and then unpacking them. Again, everybody involved was extraordinarily patient. There  were many decisions to make once the boxes were unpacked, but the workers never rushed me.

I interviewed several moving companies for this job, but I chose Senior Move Success, (which, by the way,  is much more than a mover), when the owner Michele McCaffrey informed me that she would be unpacking our collectibles onto folding  tables. With the other movers, I would have been unpacking them into small boxes on the floor ( as I don’t have enough display furniture as of yet).

From speaking with Michele, I could see that her people would not just unpack for me, but would do it in a very organized way. That’s what I needed, and that’s exactly how it happened.

One of the unpackers, Marianne, was showing me that some paintings that I inherited had damaged backings and needed to be reframed. She also showed me where the glass was coming apart. She said that she herself is an artist, and based on that she gave me very valuable advice on several things. She also trimmed some felt better than I had planned, to be fitted under some furniture ( I thought that I had laid the felt out properly, but she corrected my work.

Lisa, who also unpacked, showed me small notes that had been placed in some boxes by people who had packed them, for example stating that a decorative figurine had been repaired ( and had a weak point).  Lisa worked hard, continuously all day, many hours with Marianne, and also provided valuable advice. Both of these employees treated my things like their things, and my job as though it were their own home.

The haulers who moved the heavy boxes into my house for this second job were great, especially Ross.  Not only does he have great judgement, but he is a lovely person.  Also, he went the extra mile, so to speak, sweeping an area for me where some old  boxes had left a mess.

I recommend Senior Move Success 100%.
